Well what can I say it's been a long time coming but this is the new release on German Trance, and although 13 is very unlucky for some it's really lucky for me! Already having some plays from leading tastemakers with a copy, here is my Acid Beast track, which started life as a remix of Dumonde - See The Light before the 303's came out and I went all dark and hard in a rather foul mood. Combine this with a sinister sample from the movie 'The Crow' and the result is a very pacey acid inspired and energetic hard trancer! On remix duties comes 'Busho', a lad from Looe who has released tracks on Theracords and Nutty Trance. He delivers a hard as nails reworking that really pounds and punches its way through the speakers. The grit on this is second to none and I'm well happy with his reworking.
Louk - Acid Beast has been a firm favourite of mine since I was lucky enough to get given as an extremely early promo, so naturally I was delighted when I heard it had been signed to GermanTrance.com, one of the only labels still churning out quality Euro on plastic. And it's not difficult to see why this was signed to the label as everything here is great. The kicks have plenty of pre-delay reverb on them and sound seriously fat. So fat in fact, that no bass line is needed to carry the track at all. The percussion is quite minimal, but the real star here is the 303. Essentially this is Acid Techno at its meanest, only with a Germanic twist to proceedings. The breakdown takes a simple pad and a sample from 'The Crow', and uses them to excellent effect. It works so well yet it's essentially such a basic track that I almost can't believe what I am hearing.
In all honesty, I didn't see how the Busho remix could improve upon what is, for me, a 9/10 tune. Well, what can I say, I was wrong. Somehow, the kicks are even fatter, the 303 is crisper and there are more layers to the percussion. It's made much more in the style of a Hardstyle track rather than Acid Techno, as this one is full of dirty, distorted bass kicks, and it even has a menacing bass line underneath. I really can't state just how good these are, I'll be rinsing these for a long time yet!

The Italian Stallion Luca Antolini comes at us full throttle with his new release 'We Belong' but it's the remix from our French friend Spaceraven & Giotto DJ of S.H.O.K.K. that reminds us why we love this music so much! The melody of this track was enough to dampen our eye sockets and raise every single hair on our bodies, (and Jon is well hairy). This is definitely our favourite tune of the year so far. The fusion of the two styles from the remixers is perfectly blended with flawless accuracy, and Space Raven continues to have his tunes at the front of our CD wallets, which has been the story of the last 12 months! If you love your Hard Trance uplifting and 'rushy', this one is for you!

For the 11th release on our label we've embarked in the talents of 28 year old South West hard trance dj/producer Iain Cross. He serves up a real nasty piece of work here which is jam packed full of aggression and darkness which is rather like a European production. The Original mix uses a rock solid kick, hard Dutch sounding bass drums, twisted 303 acid lines and a spine tingling trance breakdown. This mix has been cained to death by the master of madness Mark E.G over the last couple of months and was featured in his essential mix on Radio 1. Also it's been selected to appear on the new Goodgreef Extra Hard CD compilation. Iain has came along way since his humble beginnings of co producing for the Bare Cheek label, nowadays he's the proud owner of digital label Audio Tech. Since his time as a DJ he has acquired residencies for two of the leading hard trance and techno clubs, Atmosphere and Resonate. He has been booked for massive events all over the UK such as HTID, Raverbaby, Digital Circus, Hindsight and Exotic as well as headlining for a multitude of more local nights, and has begun taking Europe by storm playing at events such as Qlubtempo 16 at Q-Dance (Holland) with crowds of over 4500 people, and at Maximum Trance in Club IK (also Holland).
Past times have seen Iain involved with production collaborations. In 2005 he got together with Meri and Jon The Baptist to form the project name 'The Elite'. They produced many outstanding tracks together which were licensed to leading Italian hard trance and hardstyle label of the time Future Sound Corporation, these were '5 Seconds 2 Terminate', 'The Roots Of Evil', & 'Club Experience'.
For the remix on the flip-side we asked one of the most forward thinking, innovative producers on the planet at preset 'FJ Project' to apply his Midas touch and he doesn't disappoint. Luca is scene as one of the leaders of the new breed sound! A producer who has really been impressing over the last couple of months with mammoth productions on his digital label Acid Records releases such as 'Brainstorm' & 'Kick My Brain' were prolific ground breaking tracks that should not be forgotten about.
FJ has appeared on a plethora of labels these include Anthem, Blastraxx, Hitland, Damage, Kickin' Tunes, Subway Records, Butterfly Experience, and IMS. Many project names have came of this such as Cybermasters, DJ Tom-809, Hypercore 303, Exodus,Cosmic Guys, Taurus-5.
Here I am with a wicked hard trancer for you from leading hard trance store and record label German Trance! For this, their 11th release, they have signed up the talents of Resonate and Atmosphere's Iain Cross, who should be no newcomer to you with his releases on the Audio:Tech label I have previously promoted. Iain's sound is very dancefloor friendly hard trance which causes an impact when played and this is very much evident in 'Cold World' which has had early support from Mark EG. Furious kick drums, dark and atmospheric synth sounds and a grinding bassline are all present here and this one rocks the place! On remix duties, Italian wonder FJ Project produces a techy remake that will definitely appeal to fans of the likes of Kamui. With a haunting breakdown and loads of power when the track kicks in, this one is also worthy of a spin! As usual, this is a very exclusive and upfront promo so your reactions are vital!
